Zoning Ordinance
A law by local or regional authority (government) that sets parameters for
the uses of a property.
The act of city or county or other authorities specifying the type of use to which property

Zoning Ordinances will typically limit the number of stories and total height of a building,
require a certain number of parking spaces for a commercial building, and require a driveway
